DESPITE not having results go their way of late, Barrow AFC head coach Stephen Clemence says they aren’t a million miles off where they want to be.
Clemence is the first to acknowledge that recent games have been frustrating for all concerned with the Bluebirds – fans, players and staff alike.
And while he knows they must find a quick fix to their woes, should they do so things could soon be looking a lot brighter once again.
He told The Mail: “I had a look at last season’s seasons stats and I think after about 15 games being on 24 points was play-off form.
“So, we are not a million miles away.
“Things are so tight in the league this season that a run of two or three wins could lift you right back in there, and we know that and that is what we are focusing on.
“By the same token we know that you can play yourself out of contention if you have a run of too many poor results.
“We know what is at stake and we are all determined to turn things around as quickly as we can.
“I have no doubt that the boys will do that.”
