BETH Pattinson has expressed her delight at making her return to Barrow Raiders Ladies.
Having been a regular for the Raiders in 2022 and 2023, she was part of the team that secured promotion to Group 1 of the Betfred Women’s Super League.
However, she took a year away from the sport to have her second child.
The 23-year-old, who grew up playing at nearby Millom Rugby Union up to Under 15s level, told the club’s official website: “To play for Barrow is an honour.
“Under the guidance of the current coaching staff, I can’t wait to play with a great bunch of Cumbrian lasses and test myself at Super League level.”
Barrow Ladies head coach Amanda Wilkinson said: “Everyone at the club is excited to have Beth back. She is such a talented young player, and one I enjoy coaching immensely.
“It’s great that she has had her baby and chosen to return to the sport she loves, and at a team she has already enjoyed real success with.”
Barrow Ladies will be holding open trials on Sunday from 11am-1pm you can register on the club’s website.
