STEPHEN Clemence stressed Barrow need to turn things around as quickly as possible.
It has been a frustrating spell for the Bluebirds with just three points from a possible 18.
Andy Dallas cancelled out Joe Pigott’s early opener on the stroke of half-time.
But a crazy minute in the second half saw AFC Wimbledon win at Holker Street for the first time in their history thanks to Matty Stevens’ quick-fire brace.
Dallas was the only fully fit striker with Dom Telford struck down with illness all week.
Emile Acquah and Ged Garner are both out injured with Kian Spence also sidelined.
Despite their dismal recent run, Clemence’s charges are still within touching distance of the play-off places.
“It is what it is. We have to keep going,” insisted Clemence.
“The only thing on these sort of runs is you have to keep working hard, you’ve got to stick together and that’s what we’ll do.
“I think the boys deserve a lot more points that we’ve picked up in the last five or six weeks if I’m honest.
“For whatever reason it hasn’t gone our way. We’ve got to make sure we start making it go our way. We can’t wait for it to happen.
“There’s going to be a lot of tight games in this division. We’ve got to make sure in these tight games, we’re the ones who come out on top.
“We were at the start of the season, but we can’t keep talking about the start of the season. That was a long time ago. We’ve got to start getting results now.
“I’m big enough and ugly enough to know we’ve got to start getting results.
“I didn’t know we were only three points off the play-off and I think that annoys me more.
“You look at it with us being that close and think where you could be.
“But there’s still a long time in the season to go.”
Clemence was disappointed with the manner of the goals his side conceded as Johnnie Jackson’s side recorded their first away league win since August.
“It’s so frustrating,” added Clemence.
“We gave them a goal in the first few minutes and that’s so unlike us.
“The way the boys came back in the first half was tremendous, we came back really well in that first half.
“We got in at the break level and that’s the least we deserved, we probably could have been ahead.
“I wasn’t worried in my technical area. I thought set plays could be an issue because they were bigger than us. But I didn’t think they were going to cause us any problems.
“Again, the second one is a disappointing one to concede from our point of view. To concede again a minute or so later it’s difficult to come back from.”
The Bluebirds travel to League Two newcomers Chesterfield on Saturday.
Paul Cook’s Spireites are the highest scorers of the division and are the third biggest hitters in the Football League behind third-tier leaders Wycombe Wanderers and Peterborough United.
