BARROW Raiders Ladies are to hold open trials later this month.

The club say the trials are a good opportunity for players who are looking to join the ladies set up at either first team or under-19 level.

The trials will be held at the Northern Competitions Stadium on Sunday, November 24, from 11am to 1pm and are open to anyone regardless of experience (players must be over 17 to play for the Betfred Women’s Super League team).

The two-hour session will be overseen by Barrow Ladies head coach Amanda Wilkinson.

News of the trials comes as the club announced a link-up with Ulverston ARLFC for the 2025 season.

The move will see Raiders’ former Ladies Reserves and Barrow and District side play as Ulverston in League Two of the Women’s Rugby League next season.

The club say that is likely that fringe players from the WSL squad will be dual registered with Ulverston as part of the agreement.

To register for the trials day, please go to the club’s website.
