BARROW AFC head coach Stephen Clemence says things are starting to look up on the injury front.
While he will still be without a couple of key players for today’s game away to Accrington Stanley (kick-off 12.30pm) he feels there is light at the end of the tunnel.
The Bluebirds boss gave an injury update ahead of the clash.
He told The Mail: “Robbie is back in full training we saw him briefly last weekend.
“Niall Canavan and Connor Mahoney are getting a lot closer, but Paul Farman still has a little bit to go, so does Sam Barnes.
“We are starting to see some positive news.
“Chris Popov has returned from international duty (Wales Under-21s), so he’s been back in training.
“David Worrall, who hasn’t been in for the last couple of weeks, is back in training as well.
“So, we’ve definitely got more numbers on the training ground.
“Not everybody is fully fit, but we are headed in the right direction.”
