BARROW AFC are taking a close look at a number of free agents, as they consider adding to their squad.
Bluebirds boss Stephen Clemence told The Mail that the club were currently assessing a couple of options.
However, he revealed that it could take some time before a decision was made.
He said: “The players we are looking at right now are obviously not contracted, they are free agents.
“Now generally, they haven’t been training at other clubs, so they are a little bit behind fitness wise, to where the rest of the division is.
“So we haven’t got them here just for a couple of days. They are going to be here for it could be a week, it could be a month.
“We just have to assess it week by week and see where we are at in terms of a decision.”
Clemence didn’t give anything away in terms of what the Bluebirds were looking for, or who they were looking at, but said a number key areas would come into any decision being made one way or the other.
