Crake Valley Croquet Club will host an England versus Scotland match.
The club will welcome Croquet England’s representative select players on August 31 and September 1.
They will face off against a Scotland team chosen by the Scottish Croquet Association.
This 'prestigious' fixture rotates between various locations across the country, with Crake Valley being 'honoured' to be selected as the venue this year.
Graham Jowett, chair of Crake Valley Croquet Club, said: "We are absolutely delighted to be hosting this England v Scotland croquet contest.
"It is a fantastic opportunity to see some of the top croquet players in the country compete.
"We encourage everyone, especially those curious about the sport, to come along and enjoy what promises to be an exciting weekend."
Spectators are warmly invited to attend.
There will be opportunities for people to learn more about croquet and even try their hand at the sport at forthcoming taster days in September.
