BARROW AFC have announced a new record-breaking sponsorship deal.

The latest announcement follows on from their record-breaking shirt sponsorship deal with The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, which was revealed at the start of the summer.

The Bluebirds have strengthened their links with the Canadian province after agreeing a deal which sees Keyin College become sleeve sponsor.

Keyin is one of Canada’s largest private colleges, based in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The sleeve deal will run for two seasons, and the sponsors logo has already appeared on the 2024/25 home shirt in Barrow's League Two opening-day victory over Crewe Alexandra.

Announcing the deal, a club statement read: “Barrow AFC is delighted to announce that another Canadian Brand, in the form of Keyin College has become our official first team sleeve partners for the upcoming two seasons.

“This record-breaking sponsorship will proudly showcase Keyin College’s brand across our sleeves on all three of our first team’s kits for the following two seasons.

“Keyin College is one of Canada’s largest private colleges, with a long-standing commitment to student success.

“Their contribution to the post-secondary educational field in both Newfoundland and Labrador and nationally is extensive, and their relationship with the industries in which our graduates seek employment is very strong.

“Founded in 1980, Keyin’s had over 41,000 students graduate from their colleges, therefore in virtually every region across their province you will find Keyin graduates who are making a difference in the communities in which they live, and in the industries where they work.

“Keyin College was originally established in Newfoundland and Labrador in 1980, with the goal of providing career seekers with the practical skills they would need to succeed and flourish in a competitive job market.

“Over the ensuing decades, as additional campuses were added to better meet the needs of both urban and rural employers, their graduates became sought after across the province.

“Over what has now become four decades of academic excellence, the Keyin model of career training has been time tested and retested to ensure that their graduates continue to meet the needs and expectations of employers in the rapidly evolving work world around them.

“Today, Keyin College is Newfoundland and Labrador’s largest private college, and they are well prepared to deliver career-focused graduates to the workforce, both in the province and beyond.”

Barrow’s Chief Operating Officer, Alisha Henry said: “Working in conjunction with Keyin College not only fortifies the club's ties with Newfoundland and Labrador, but also underscores both parties unwavering dedication to community outreach and utilising sports as a powerful tool to engage with individuals of all backgrounds.

“We are thrilled about the mutual benefits this sponsorship provides and confident that this will lead to a long-lasting partnership.”
