LOCAL teams Millom and Barrow Island lock horns at Devonshire Road in the Second Division of the Conference.
Playmaker Jonathan Hodgson returns from the Italian Riviera to lead his troops as the Woolybacks seek to complete the double over the Island.
Coach Brad Crellin is up for the challenge. He said: “I am looking forward to the challenge, Barrow Island have put in some decent performances of late, and they'll be up and ready for this one.
“On the other hand, I know what we are capable of, and if we show the same effort and desire that we showed in a great win at Ellenborough two weeks ago I'm sure we can get a win.”
Crellin is without Niall Harris and Hadley Thompson, while he awaits late checks on two or three players.
Millom aim to go one better than last week when they lost 52-10 at Oldham St Anne’s.
Barrow Island will parade a strong squad with the return of Carl McBain, Max-Anderson-Moore, Dan and Aide Wright along with Finn Dutton.
A big miss for the Island is workaholic Jordan Staffieri, who is unavailable.
Coach Jamie Curtis said: “We took a young side to Normanton Knights last week and they put up a good show despite us losing (32-20).
“So today we will have probably our strongest side out this season.”
In the NWML, Roose Pioneers travel to Waterhead “A” without several regulars, but welcome back Taylor Roberts, Layton Deakin and Luke Thompson along with Josh Tranter and Antoni Kudelski, who were unavailable last week.
League champions Hindpool Tigers look for victory at Leigh Miners ‘A’ and to maintain their 100 per cent record.
Not on the bus are Lewis Sayle, Zack Middlehurst and Tom Heighton, but back on board are Jack Osman, Ryan Kyte, Ethan Buchanan, Jamie McIlroy and possibly Jamie Lynn.
Ulverston hand debuts to Miles Fricker and Charlie McKenzie and returning are Josh Catlett and Matty Storey.
Missing out are Jack Aiken, Liam Saunders, Alex Brown, Ryan John and Tom Spedding.
In Division One, Dalton are home to Chorley Panthers and recall Pat Kelly, Stu High, Ben Ashburner and Elliot Bibby.
Unavailable are Dan Knott, Ben Atkinson Isaac Barbour and Roland Seward.
