BARROW AFC have announced Neo Eccleston on a season long loan from Huddersfield Town as their seventh signing of the summer.
The 20-year-old right-back got his first taste of first-team action for the Sky Bet League One side during Michael Duff’s pre-season trip to Austria earlier this month.
Eccleston has featured for The Terriers B team for the past couple of seasons but showed enough promise to secure a new contract last season to keep him at the club until the summer of 2025.
He joined their youth setup when they side were a Championship side at the age of just 16 after playing alongside the likes of highly rated defender Lewi Colwill at Chelsea's academy setup.
Speaking to the Club website, Eccleston said: It feels amazing. It feels good to get started and get up here. I can’t wait to make a name for myself.”
“The Gaffer called me and he seemed really eager to talk to me and get to know me. He let me know he really likes how I play.
"A really big part of coming here is knowing the Gaffer likes me and trusts me.”
