Barrow Raiders' Head Coach Paul Crarey believed that three key refereeing decisions cost his side in their defeat away at Doncaster.
A battling display was not enough for Raiders as they came out on the wrong side of a 37-30 score line at the Keepmoat Stadium on Sunday.
The home side retook the lead in a topsy turvy match with six minutes left on the clock, and it proved to be an advantage they would not relinquish.
Following the match, Crarey said: "There's three decisions there that cost us the game.
"Tom [Wilkinson] challenged their pivot, I think the whistle was blown, everybody stopped, and then their player walks into the corner and puts the ball down, the try's given - it should have been brought back.
"The last try under the post, he's offside by a mile - he'd have to be Linford Christie to get there to stand under that ball to catch it.
"And in a play where they lost control of it, it hit our player and then bounced back into their arms, and the try was given - it should have been a knock-on."
Crarey still believed that, despite a hard-fought match from Raiders, they will have to remove personal errors to have a better result next time out.
An opportunity to atone for those mistakes will come this Sunday with a return to the Northern Competitions Stadium against Bradford Bulls.
