BARROW Raiders put up a brave show at Batley Bulldogs losing 22-2.
The Raiders were still in contention going into the final minutes before conceding a further 12 points.
Barrow took an early lead with a Ryan Shaw penalty goal before the Bulldogs replied with an unconverted try from Joe Burton, which made it 4-2 to the home side in a nip and tuck first half.
The second period saw the home side with their famous slope in their favour, and within five minutes they edged further ahead with a Buchannan try and Josh Woods goal 10-2.
The scoreline remained the same until the 71st minute when after Ryan Johnston left the field after being taken high off the ball, Luke Hooley raced in from 90 metres, Woods adding the goal 16-2.
And within five minutes, Mitsias crossed for Woods to close the scoring 22-2.
