BARROW AFC manager Pete Wild is expecting a real ding dong battle when Bradford City come to Holker Street tonight.
Wild will be looking for his side to bounce back from the weekend’s 2-0 defeat at home to Swindon Town, but he knows they won’t have it all their own way.
He told the club’s official Facebook page: “Over recent games, Graham (Alexander the City boss) has got a real tune out of the players.
“They look like they have got a real freshness about them, and they are coming to us in good form.”
Wild expects that neither side will give any quarter as they go in search of the three points, but is confident his side have enough fight about them.
He added: “You can see that (it will be a tough test) in the way they are playing, very front footed, very physical.
“They want to get after you with or without the ball. They’ll commit numbers forward when they’ve got it and they’ll work as hard as they can when they haven’t got it.
“It will be a real physical contest, where it is going to be a real to and fro, and in them games we are normally alright.”
