FOR the second weekend running Barrow AFC find themselves without a game.
The Bluebirds away-day against Crawley Town has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
A referee inspected the Broadfield Stadium pitch earlier this afternoon, and after discussions with the EFL and PGMOL, it was decided that the pitch was in an unplayable condition and the match would be postponed.
Last weekend the Cumbrians saw their home clash against Bradford City called off after referee Tom Nield an hour before kick-off.
The Bluebirds were unhappy with Nield’s decision and issued a statement saying they would be making an official complaint.
The B team’s midweek clash with Salford City was also cancelled after falling foul of the weather.
A statement on Barrow AFC’s official website, read: “We apologise for any inconvenience this (the Crawley postponement) may have caused and we’ll update fans on a date for a rearranged fixture in due course.
“Tickets already purchased for this fixture will still be valid for the rearranged fixture. If you wish to receive a refund on your ticket please visit the Ticket Office at Holker Street or email us at office@barrowafc.com.”
