BARROW AFC boss Pete Wild says everyone is taking responsibility for their future success.
The Bluebirds find themselves fourth in the League Two table just a point behind Mansfield Town and Wrexham – currently second and third respectively.
And one-time runaway leaders Stockport County, sitting at the table summit, are just three points ahead of them.
Wild has always insisted that the club’s excellent start to the campaign has been a real team effort.
And the Barrow boss says everyone doing their bit to make sure it continues.
He said: “I think there is a sort of shared responsibility now amongst us all that we know what we need to do, and we are excited about going out and doing it.
“There’s obviously areas that we can improve in, there’s always things that we can get better at, but we are using all of our experiences to keep us heading in the right direction.
“There are lads sharing their experiences about being in teams that are near the top end of the leagues and being in teams that have done well.
“They are sharing their experiences, and everyone is talking it through together and getting ready for the challenge ahead.
“It’s important going forward that we continue to do that and that we continue to stick together as we push ourselves forward to go and get the next set of points.”
Next up for the Bluebirds this weekend is an away day against bottom of the table Sutton United.
United have won just four games all season and parted ways with Matt Gray before Christmas.
Last weekend they named former Cardiff boss Steve Morison as their new gaffer.
Speaking about his appointment Morison told Sutton's official YouTube channel: “There’s really good people here and it was opportunity I wanted to take.
“First and foremost, I’m under no illusions that we have got a tough job. Before we do anything else we have got to get ourselves safe in the league and that’s going to take lots of different forms.
“That’s going to be down to recruitment, it’s going to be down to what we do on the training pitch, it’s going to be down to what we do on a match day, and how we act and how we conduct ourselves.
“There’s a lot we have to get right, but everyone seems to be pulling in the same direction so I’m sure we can do that.”
