FOOTBALL star Marcus Rashford made the journey up from Manchester to the SO Legal Stadium to see his old friend Tyrell Warren play.
Warren signed for the Bluebirds this season and scored Barrow's second goal of the game in their win over Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday.
The club had been unaware of Rashford's impending visit but invited him into the directors' box when they realised he had made the two-hour journey from Manchester. Rashford even took photos with fans.
Club chairman Paul Hornby said: "It was fantastic to have a personality and player of Marcus' calibre in the crowd at the So Legal Stadium.
"He arrived with minimal fuss and was happy to keep a low profile - although it didn't take long for supporters to realise they had a Premier League and England star in their midst.
"Marcus was kind enough to take photos with some of the fans which I'm sure made their evening. The fact we then capped it all off with another win - including a goal from Marcus' pal, Tyrell - to take us to within four points of the top of the table made the evening just perfect.
"My son was also lucky enough to meet one of his sporting heroes and have a picture with him. He went home a very happy lad."

Rashford has not been included in United's squad for their upcoming Europa League game with Sheriff Tiraspol. The muscle injury has also forced him to be dropped from England’s Nations League games against Italy and Germany at the end of the month.
So far this season in the Premier League, Rashford has scored three goals and two assists for Manchester United. He has already clocked up 523 minutes of playing time, as a key player in Erik ten Hag's squad.
