Goalkeeper Scott Moloney has become the latest new arrival at Holker Street.
The 19-year-old stopper has most recently been on the books at Bury FC, having previously been part of the youth set up at Hartlepool United.
He has been brought in to provide further back up to stoppers Joel Dixon and Josh Lillis.
Manager David Dunn told the club’s website: “I have known Scott for a few years now from his time at Bury. What we didn’t want to do is what happened to us at Derby where we were left without a goalkeeper on the bench and we think Scott is a really good prospect.
“He’s under the age limit for the squad as well so he can come in with us and not affect the cap so we’re looking forward to working with him and we will go from there.”
