One of the most anticipated fixtures of the weekend comes in Division One of the West Lancashire League, with Millom travelling to fellow high-flyers Askam United for a local derby at Duddon Road.
However, the visitors will be making the journey recovering from the resignation of manager Andrew Marshall, who had steered the team to fourth in the table in what was a successful start after taking charge during the summer.
In a statement, Marshall said: "I've thoroughly enjoyed my time and would love to be part of the club in the future.
"Anyone who knows me knows I'm not one to back out of things mid-term, but unfortunately this time it's what I needed to do.
"For now, I sign off from my role in football to spend some time to myself and also with my family."
Millom actually have the chance to leapfrog Askam in the table if they win, as they are just one point behind their opponents and could even go as high as second.
There are two more local clashes in the West Lancs tomorrow, with Hawcoat Park hosting Ulverston Rangers and both teams are looking to pick up points to haul themselves further clear of any trouble.
In Division Two, Dalton United welcome league leaders Walney Island to Railway Meadow, with the visitors looking to get back to winning ways after their surprise draw at home to Freckleton last week.
