Bootle are second by way of goal difference in the Furness Premier League after they defeated Millom reserves 3-2.
Graham Hartley, Aaron Bradley and Jack Denwood were the Bootle scorers, while Millom’s replies coming from Kieran Thompson and an own goal.
Croftlands Park won 3-1 at Barrow Celtic, with Mike Carr, Jamie Slater and Mike Webster their marksmen. Jono France found the net for Celtic. Holker Old Boys reserves beat Walney Island reserves 3-0 with their goals coming from Sam Lightfoot, Charley Thompson and an own goal.
Kieran Clark and Sam Jefferson were on target as Hawcoat Park reserves won 2-1 at Swarthmoor. Britannia and Vickerstown reserves drew 1-1 at Redwaters with Jordan Wallace scoring for The Brit before Max Green replied.
Kirkby United put their opening day defeat behind them by beating Haverigg 4-1 with Ben Wilson, Tom Wildgoose, Jack Gardner and Rob Fugler their scorers.
