The Furness Crown Green Association senior bowling team, play their third match of 2019 against Warrington in the Dennis Mowers-sponsored Federation of Crown Green Bowls Division Four on Sunday.
Furness have lost their opening two matches, 14-18 to leaders Bradford and 13-19 and 11-21 against South Lakes.
After losing their opening match 15-17 to Harrogate ARA, Warrington responded with a great 20-12 win to end Bradford’s 100 per cent record.
Furness are playing on their banker green, where they whitewashed the visitors last year who could only amass 96 chalks between them in a match Furness won 23-9.
While expectations are for a win for the Cumbrians, the result may be much closer this time.
The Furness line up includes17-year-old Callum Sharples, Ryan Smith, whose 17th birthday is on the day of the match, Fraser Rigg, who turned 15 three weeks ago, with 14-year-old Ethan Lowden making his debut.
