Damned United suffered another major setback in their Pulse Monday Night Championship Division challenge, as they fell 10-9 to a resurgent Foregone Conclusion side for their second loss on the bounce.
A seven-goal-haul from Rikki Gallacher did the damage for Foregone, who have now won four straight games to put a dismal start to the campaign behind them and reignite their own title ambitions, with Carl Hill (2) and Jordan Herrington also getting on the scoresheet.
Ben Greer (3), Curtis McAloone (3) and Luke McCracken (3) replied for Damned, who have now dropped to third with both BTD and Benteke Fried Chicken claiming forfeit victories.
Elsewhere in the Championship, Vote Corbyn were 13-9 winners over Egg Fried Reus and Tesco’s Finest played out a 9-9 thriller with SOV.
In the Premier Division, league leaders Vibrant made it seven wins from seven beating Unbelievable Jeff 10-0, with the latter losing Adam Golightly early to an injury.
They also hit the post several times, one particular moment seeing Sam Jefferson strike the inside of the upright before rolling along the line onto the other post and bouncing out.
At the bottom of the table, seven Shaun Fisher strikes weren’t enough for Haz Beens as they went down 11-10 to Arty Dossers, and Furness Generals defeated Furness Park 14-10.
