JOHN Kear will have been pleased to see his Bradford Bulls side start as they mean to go on ahead of this afternoon's clash with Barrow Raiders.
The Bulls head coach has seen his team come from behind twice in as many games, first by beating Featherstone Rovers 27-26 with a drop-goal from Jordan Lilley in the Coral Challenge Cup fifth round, followed by rallying from 26-12 down after an hour away to Halifax to win 33-26 on Good Friday.
Today's trip to Odsal for the Raiders is the third of four games in this busy period for Bradford – the final one being at home to Rochdale Hornets this Sunday – and Kear will not settle for anything less than maximum points.
"We have spoken about this in team meetings and we have said we are going to attack Easter," wrote Kear in his column in the Bradford Telegraph & Argus.
"We are not going to use Easter as a reason as to why we have underperformed and we are aiming for four quality performances from differing teams.
"Because we will have different personnel out there in each one and we will only be happy if we nail four victories."
Lilley's golden point drop-goal against Featherstone set up a mouth-watering clash with Bradford's old rivals Leeds Rhinos in the sixth round.
The stand-off is also enjoying playing alongside youth graduate Rowan Milnes in the halves.
“We are all looking forward to the challenge ahead and, personally, I am looking forward to building the partnership I have with Rowan Milnes," Lilley told the Telegraph & Argus.
"Once we build that firm foundation and get some consistency, I think the partnership will shine. We are both eager to learn and are continuing to develop."
