A WIN at home to Chadderton tomorrow could be enough to make certain of Holker Old Boys' place in the North West Counties League First Division North for next season.
With three games remaining, Holker are six points above the bottom two and victory at Rakesmoor Lane plus defeat for second-bottom Daisy Hill at home to Lower Breck would give them an unassailable lead over the bottom two.
It is the first of two back-to-back home games for Kevin Watkin's side, with AFC Blackpool visiting Holker on Easter Monday followed by their final match of the campaign away to leaders Longridge Town a week tomorrow.
The big game of the day in the Furness Premier League comes at the top of the Premier Division, where title rivals Croftlands Park and Kirkby United go head-to-head in the first of two meetings between them in the next seven days.
Victory for Croftlands would put them four points ahead of Kirkby and three in front of second-placed Bootle, who they face next Wednesday evening.
Bootle do not have a match tomorrow, so their players and management will no doubt be keeping a close eye on events between Croftlands and Kirkby.
There is a derby clash in the West Lancashire League as Hawcoat Park host Askam United, which is the final game of the season for two teams who have had contrasting fortunes.
