Roose Pioneers under-15s maintained their 100 per cent record in the North West Counties Junior & Youth League with a 76-1 demolition of Haydock Warriors last Sunday.
Pioneers now lead Division Three by three points ahead of their deserved week off.
Askam’s up-and-down form in Division Two of the same age group continued, as they were narrowly defeated 24-16 at league leaders Saddleworth Rangers.
In the under-16s, Walney Central were very unfortunate to come out on the wrong end of the result against Hindley in Division One, as they were edged out 24-22 at Central Drive.
Both Dalton and Askam under-16s exited the Cumbria Youth Cup, as they were handily beaten by Kells and Egremont Rangers.
