STEVE Pritt helped fire holders Bootle into the final of this year’s Terry Clinton Memorial Trophy as they defeated Millom reserves in Tuesday evening’s semi-final.
Pritt’s double helped secure a 3-1 win in the match at Haverigg United’s Wilson Park ground, with James Turner getting Millom’s consolation.
Bootle will be up against Barrow Celtic in the final after they overcame Furness Premier League Premier Division leaders Kirkby United 2-1 at Askam United’s Duddon Road home.
Stuey Thompson put Celtic ahead, only for Sam Pinnegor to level things up. However, Rob Johnson got the all-important goal to send Celtic into the final.
Details for the decider are to be confirmed by the Furness Premier League.
Millom A are into the quarter-finals of the Horne Cup after they saw off the challenge of Croftlands reserves 4-3.
A double from Craig Redhead, and one apiece for Neil Shaw and Ryan Sheldonwere enough to win the tie.
Joining Millom in the last eight are Holker Old Boys A, who beat Britannia reserves 3-0 courtesy of a hat-trick by Connor Erdis.
Meanwhile, Walney Island and Furness Cavaliers have found out the details for the final of the West Lancashire League Challenge Cup.
The match will take place at Dalton United's Railway Meadow ground on Saturday, May 4, kicking off at 3pm..
