JOE Blackshaw grabbed a hat-trick to help Furness Cavaliers earn a share of the spoils in a see-saw West Lancashire League Division Two game away to Charnock Richard reserves.
Cavaliers were 3-1 up, only for the hosts to rally and lead 4-3 before the away side got an equaliser to ensure it finished 4-4. Blackshaw's tally and a own goal accounted for their goals.
Furness Rovers came from behind to draw 2-2 away to Garstang reserves thanks to Nath Clousdale and Josh Jones.
Dalton United's game away to Mill Hill St Peters ended in a 2-2 draw as well, with Robbie McMurdo and Gareth Jones their scorers.
In the Premier Division, Vickerstown came back from Turton empty-handed after a 2-1 defeat.
Rob Bruce put the visitors 1-0 ahead, but they lost the lead within a minute and conceded late on to taste defeat.
Crooklands Casuals lost 2-0 at home to a resurgent Wyre Villa in Division One.
Elsewhere, Phil Edmondson and Chris O’Brien were on target for Millom, but they went down 3-2 at Lostock St Gerards.
Hawcoat Park had Joe Tindale to thank as his strike earned them a 1-1 draw at Lytham Town.
Holker Old Boys, who travel to Steeton tomorrow night, are still six points clear of the North West Counties League First Division North relegation zone with five games to play after losing 3-0 at home to AFC Darwen.
