SAM Stephens and Tom Dawson have become the latest members of Barrow AFC's under-21 set-up to sign senior forms with the Bluebirds.
Goalkeeper Stephens, who currently represents Holker Old Boys in the North West Counties League First Division North, has put in several impressive performances for both his club and Barrow's under-21 team this year.
He signs as back-up to Joel Dixon, with Andy Firth having joined Rangers and loan keeper Brad Wade being recalled by Rochdale.
Striker Dawson is considered a bright prospect for the club, having scored nine goals in as many games for Barrow's under-21s aged only 16. He also has experience of playing in the West Lancashire League Premier Division for Vickerstown.
The signing of the pair to senior forms was announced this evening and they are available for tomorrow's Vanarama National League game at home to Bromley.
Stephens and Dawson were not the only players to sign on for AFC today, with Blackburn Rovers under-23 captain Lewis Hardcastle making the move to Holker Street.
Hardcastle joined on an initial one-month youth loan, having spent time at Port Vale earlier this season.
