WALNEY Central have been handed a trip to West Yorkshire to play Kinsley Raiders in the first round of the 2019 BARLA National Cup.
Cents are the only team from the area which have entered the competition for next year and were drawn away to the Pennine League Division Three outfit in Saturday afternoon’s draw.
The match in the last 32 will be played on Saturday, February 2, with West Cumbria sides Kells A and Aspatria Hornets at home to Bentley and West Hull respectively on the same day.
Cockermouth Titans face East Leeds in the preliminary round on January 12, with the winners away to Pontefract side Upton.
Walney have a home tie in the Under-16s National Cup preliminary round against Portico Vine visit on Sunday, January 13.
The same day sees Millom travel to Thatto Heath Crusaders, while Askam have been given a bye to the first round.
It is the same story for the Villagers in the Under-14s National Cup, although Roose Pioneers will face a trip to Crosfields in the preliminary round.
