Defender Rhys Norrington-Davies has extended his loan at Barrow AFC from Sheffield United until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old Wales Under-21 international joined the Bluebirds on an initial one-month deal in September and has quickly established himself as manager Ian Evatt’s first choice at left-back.
Norrington-Davies has been a bundle of energy since his arrival and showed last Saturday that he can contribute to the attacking side of things, as he set up Luke Burgess’ goal in the 2-1 victory over Sutton United at Holker Street.
Evatt said: “Rhys is a fantastic footballer, he has done really well for us.
“He is a proper man for 19, he copes with this level really well and has done great for us.”
Norrington-Davies will, however, be unavailable for Saturday’s away game at Bromley, as he will be on international duty, with Wales travelling to Romania for an U21 Euro qualifier this weekend before facing Switzerland at home in the same competition next Tuesday.
