FIREFIGHTERS extinguished a blaze in a car this afternoon.
Crews from Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service were called to Chestnut Grove in Ulverston at 12.22pm where on arrival they discovered a vehicle on fire.
One firefighter was required to wear breathing apparatus and used a hose reel jet to put the flames out.
It is believed the cause of the fire involved the vehicle's electrics.
