CREWS tackled a building fire in Ulverston town centre this morning.
Firefighters from Barrow and Ulverston were called to New Market Street at 4.14am to reports of a shop fire.
The fire involved a three-storey building, with the fire on the first floor.
Firefighters, four wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets to put out the blaze.
The crews were at the scene for just under four hours.
