If your passport is nearing its end, you may be concerned about travelling abroad as many countries require you to have a certain amount of time left before it expires.

The amount of time required on passports varies from country to country with a great many asking that travellers have six months of validity left on their document.

Some countries require at least three months with a select few needing less than this.

Most of these destinations require that your passport is valid for the duration of your stay with Costa Rica being the only nation where you need just one day of validity.
