THE latest restaurants to be awarded Michelin stars have been unveiled, with the Lake District adding two stars to its growing collection.
Forest Side in Grasmere and the Gilpin Hotel in Windermere have been awarded one Michelin star each after impressing inspectors with their fine cuisine.
It takes the total of Michelin starred restaurants in Cumbria to four, adding to the two star L'Enclume in Cartmel and The Samling in Ambleside, which has one star.
