EMERGENCY services were called when a quad bike driver got into trouble.
Police, paramedics and the Great North Air Ambulance were scrambled to a field off the A590 at Lindale at 1.20pm on Thursday May 4.
The quad bike driver had suffered a 'medical episode' and required treatment at the scene.
Police were stood down and the man was left in the care of the ambulance service.
Cumbria Road Police tweeted: "Just left joint emergency services incident near Lindale. Casualty safe and well."
