Scott Hornby, 38, of Broad Close, Barrow, is accused of being the owner or person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.
It is alleged that two Staffordshire Bull Terriers, which Hornby is alleged to have been in control of, attacked another dog and its owner causing a puncture wound to the claimant’s hand.
Hornby has denied the charges. He is due to appear at Preston Crown Court on February 12.
