A BORDER terrier type dog attacked and bit another dog and its owner outside a Barrow supermarket.
The incident happened at around 12.20pm on Friday outside the Co-op in Oxford Street.
Police say the border terrier type dog was not on a lead or with its owner at the time.
Witnesses as well as the dog's owner are asked to come forward to help the investigation.
Anyone with information should ring police on 101, asking to speak to PC Winter.
