There will be special guest appearances from Santa's helpers as people come together to celebrate one year since the opening of The Family Hubs.
Westmorland and Furness Council is hosting a free family fun day at Barrow Library on Saturday December 7.
The free festive celebration will take place from 10am to 1pm.
There will be a gift for each child, plus free snacks and drinks, as well as crafts and activities, VR headsets and more for children to join in with.
Westmorland and Furness Council said there is no need to book.
The Family Hubs have now been open a year. The team delivers over 100 hours a month of services across five locations as well as online support.
As well as the main hub at Barrow Library, there are sites at Dalton Community Centre, Ormsgill Community Hub, Bram Longstaffe Family and Wellbeing Centre and Walney Library.
During the summer holidays, the team engaged and supported over 900 families with a number of outreach activities.
The Family Hub work in close partnership with over 28 partners from midwives to 6th-form colleges, delivering drop-in sessions to families.
