Furness Bach Choir's upcoming concert Mysterium will take place on Saturday December 7 at Ulverston Methodist Church on Hartley Street.
The event is a varied programme of music for Advent by composers ranging from 17th century right up to the present day.
A spokesperson for Furness Bach Choir said: "The pieces are mainly quite short but provide a rich variety. Some, such as the Cantique de Jean Racine by Faure and A spotless rose by Herbert Howells are well-known, others will be unfamiliar but very beautiful, for example The Song of the Shepherds by Alec Roth and Ecce Puer by Chris Chivers."
The concert will be conducted by the choir's Musical Director Alex Robinson and Charles Edmondson will be the organist.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and there will be seasonal refreshments provided.
Tickets are £15, including programme, and are available from Suttons Bookshop, Ulverston.
