The Furness and Barrow branch of the RSPA have urged people not to 'leave behind' a cat whose kittens may be adopted before her.
Laurel, the three-year-old feline, has recently had babies which have seen adoption interest before her.
She is described as friendly and affectionate and looking for her forever home.

Speaking on its Facebook page, a member of the Furness branch said: "She had kittens recently for which we have interest in, so we don’t want her being left behind.
"Her fur is soft and fluffy so having her curled up on your knee in this weather would be great.
"If you have other pets we would suggest bringing them along to see how they get on.
The adoption fee is £100 which contributes towards her vaccinations, chip, spay and costs whilst in our care.
