Santa's upcoming visit to the Lake District will be used to support a local food bank.
Lindeth Howe Hotel in Bowness-on-Windermere is putting on a holiday market on Sunday, December 8 from 12 noon until 3pm.
This will see local crafters selling 'locally handmade' items which will be the 'perfect' Christmas gifts ahead of the big day.
It will be free to enter the market, with free parking and free visits with Santa and his elves at the grotto, along with a special meet-and-greet with the birds of prey from Lake District Falconry.
The event will be supporting Windermere Food Bank, with visitors encouraged to bring donations to the charity on the day.
Tinned items were especially sought after, as the organisers look to support the food bank at one of its busiest times of the year.
