A road near Newbiggin is closed due an overturned vehicle.
The A6 is partially blocked at Sandes Avenue in both directions.
There are delays due to accident at A5284.
Cumbria Police are on site while Westmorland and Furness Council's highways crews have put a road closure and signed diversion in place.
