A 'Crafty Christmas' event is coming to the Lake District next week to spread the holiday spirit.

Hosted by All About Alpacas in Cartmel, the sessions are designed solely for adults and will run on December 3, 10 and 17 between 6.30pm and 9pm.

Visitors will get the chance to felt unique decorations and ornaments whilst sipping on mulled wine, enjoying platters from Cartmel Cheeses, and savouring a mince pie or two.

The organisers said: "It's a great way to get into the holiday spirit and create some extra special gifts for your friends and family, or unique decorations for your own home.

"Get up close and personal with the alpacas during your session and get some festive photos with them too."
