A town in Cumbria is getting ready to welcome Christmas this weekend.
The Millom Christmas lights switch-on event will take place on Saturday, November 30 from 5.30pm at Market Square.
Organised by the Town Council, the festivities will involve everyone's favourite carols, as well as performances from the Holborn Hill Brass Band.
The main event will understandably be the switching on of the lights across the town centre, which will signal the official start of the Christmas season in Millom.
This will then be followed by refreshments and a selection of mince pies, which will be hosted by St George's Church off St George's Road.
