Heavy congestion is being reported on a section of the A590 this morning (November 28).
There is currently queueing traffic on A590 Ulverston Road in both directions at Railway Terrace between Ulverston and Barrow
The delays are due to roadworks in the area and up to 30 minutes.
Temporary lights are currently in operation.
The Cumbria Road watch Facebook page has advised drivers to use alternative routes where possible.
