Fire crews were sent to battle a blaze that broke out at a gas terminal in Barrow on Monday (November 25).
Three fire engines from Barrow, Walney and Ulverston attended the fire just after 4pm.
Local residents reported hearing alarms coming from Spirit Energy's gas terminal that connects to gas fields in Morecambe Bay.

The fire is believed to have been started by an electrical fan.
A spokesperson for Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Cumbria said: "At 16:03 on 25th November 2024, three fire engines from Barrow, Walney and Ulverston attended a commercial building fire on Rampside Road, Barrow-in-Furness.
"The fire involved an electrical fan and crews used one hose reel jet and a ground monitor to bring the incident under control. They were at the scene for an hour."
