A MAN has been found guilty of three counts of child rape.
Alejandro Nigro, of Naiad Street in Walney, was on trial at the Sessions House, Preston Crown Court, charged with three counts of raping a child.
After over two hours of deliberations without a unanimous verdict, His Honour Judge determined that he would accept a majority verdict.
The jury later returned a majority 10-2 verdict, convicting Nigro of the offences on November 25.
The 44-year-old was remanded into custody and will be sentenced on Friday.
