A series of events starting this weekend are bringing the Christmas spirit to a historic spot in the Lake District.
Thanks to the National Trust, Grasmere Glee will be welcoming visitors to Allan Bank on December 1 and 8 for a chance to sing festive carols within the walls of the building from the 1800s.
Both of the sessions will run between 1.30pm and 3.30pm, with no singing experience required and 'the more the merrier'.
Set inside the former home of William Wordsworth, the sessions will be a unique opportunity to connect with the site that is imbued with Lake District history.
Grasmere Glee, a local singing group, will perform several times across the afternoon and will also invite visitors to get involved too.
Both events will be free to experience, though normal fees apply to enter Allan Bank to help fund its continuing maintenance.
