A café that started out in a Barrow gym has been nominated by The Mail readers for the Best Coffee Shop award 2024.
Industry Kitchen, now based on Risedale Road, expanded its premises from the Industry 13 gym on Roose Road in 2021.
Co-owner Ellie Nicholson explained at the time that the move was to give them more space and to create a more relaxing setting for diners.
The coffee shop was founded a year before in 2020 by Ellie and Mohammed Ali who were later joined by Mitchell Nicholson.
They are supported by Head Chef Rachael with a strong team of chefs and baristas.

Earlier this month The Mail launched a new campaign to find the best coffee shop that South Cumbria has to offer.
Readers placed Industry Kitchen within the top ten finalists.
