Veterans across Cumbria are invited to mince pie and coffee events this Christmas.
Westmorland and Furness Council Chairman Cllr Matt Severn, and Chief Legal and Monitoring Officer and Armed Forces Lead Officer Linda Jones invite those who have served in the armed forces to join them for tea, coffee and Christmas mince pies.
The events are as follows:
Barrow Town Hall: Monday, December 9 - 10.30am to noon
Penrith Parish Room: Thursday, December 12 - 9.30am to 10.30am
Kendal Town Hall: Monday, December 16 - noon to 1pm
