The top ten finalists for The Mail's 'Best Coffee Shop 2024' can now be revealed.

Last week, we launched a new award to find the best place to grab a coffee in South Cumbria.

Mail readers were invited to nominate their favourites and the hundreds of selections made continue to build upon the popularity of our recent campaigns.

The final shortlist is comprised of 10 local coffee shops that have proven to be the most popular to sit down and have a brew.

They are:

  • Abbey Mill Coffee Shop – Abbey Approach, Barrow-in-Furness, LA13 0PJ 

  • Brew at Industry – 20 Roose Road, Barrow-in-Furness, LA13 9RQ 

  • Coffee D’Ash – 10 Portland Walk, Barrow-in-Furness, LA14 1HU 

  • Coffee Time – 3 Cavendish Street, Barrow-in-Furness, LA14 1SF

  • Diggle’s – 183 Dalton Road, Barrow-in-Furness, LA14 1PT 

  • Industry Kitchen – 71 Risedale Road, Barrow-in-Furness, LA13 9QY 

  • Dusty Millers Tea Rooms – Gleaston, Ulverston, LA12 0QH

  • Round House Hub & Café – Walney, Barrow-in-Furness, LA14 3YE

  • The Chocolate Room – 4 Station Road, Dalton-in-Furness, LA15 8DW 

  • The Fig Tree – 100 Scott Street, Barrow-in-Furness, LA14 1QE 

There will now be two weeks of voting with readers encouraged to vote for their ultimate champion, which will be revealed in December.

You can vote for your winner by picking up copies of The Mail which will have a voting slip in the paper from Monday until December 7.
